What Alma Lasers RF technology is

Paramed

RF (radiofrequency) is energy that heats tissue from within without damaging the skin surface. Heated collagen fibres contract at once, and fibroblasts then build new ones — a process that runs for 2–3 months. Alma Lasers uses RF in two different forms. In Accent Prime, unipolar RF works together with ultrasound: deep heating for facial skin tightening and body contouring with no downtime. In Legato, RF becomes fractional iPixel microplasma: it opens micro-channels in scar tissue, and iTED ultrasound then delivers restorative products through them. Contraindications apply; a specialist consultation is required.

Choosing between Accent Prime and Legato

Accent Prime is for skin tone and firmness or body contour: no downtime, and for the face a course of 4–6 sessions every 2–3 weeks. Legato is for changing skin texture — scars, acne scars, stretch marks: a fractional treatment with 5–10 days of recovery and 3–5 sessions a month apart. The doctor makes the final choice at the consultation after examining your skin.

Accent Prime: RF + ultrasound

Accent Prime is a multi-function Alma Lasers platform: unipolar and bipolar RF, ultrasound and fractional microplasma in one system. Handpieces work at different depths, so the protocol is matched to the area and goal. The treatment feels like warmth and needs no recovery time.

Legato: iPixel RF microplasma + iTED ultrasound

Legato (Alma Lasers) works in two steps. iPixel radiofrequency microplasma opens fractional micro-channels and starts scar-tissue renewal; the Impact handpiece with iTED ultrasound then delivers restorative products. A course is 3–5 sessions about a month apart, with 5–10 days of recovery after each.

Full-face RF lifting on Accent Prime is 150 AZN. Single zones (jawline, forehead, nasolabial folds, around the eyes) are 75 AZN each; neck or décolleté 100 AZN.

A small scar (up to ~2 cm²) is 50 AZN, an area up to 5×5 cm 100 AZN, up to 10×10 cm 200 AZN. iTED ultrasound product delivery adds 50 AZN.

? When will I see results? ⌄

Collagen contracts straight after RF, but the main effect builds over 2–3 months as new fibres form. Results vary.
