icoone or Accent UltraSpeed: which to choose in Baku

icoone works the tissue mechanically with micro-alveolar vacuum and rollers — good for drainage and skin appearance. Accent UltraSpeed uses ultrasound on fat and RF on the skin's collagen. Paramed does not have a separate icoone; we run Accent UltraSpeed and anti-cellulite device massage.

In short

icoone Laser (I-Tech, Italy) is built on Roboderm technology: many micro-alveolar heads grip and release the skin at thousands of points at once, stimulating lymphatic flow, microcirculation and fibroblast activity. That works well on the appearance of cellulite and on skin tone, but it does not break down fat cells by itself. Accent UltraSpeed (Alma Lasers) works on a different principle: ultrasound acts on localised fat deposits while unipolar RF heats the skin and drives collagen synthesis — so it addresses volume, laxity and drainage at the same time. Paramed does not have a separate icoone device; we have Accent UltraSpeed, anti-cellulite device massage and infrared NIR. Contraindications apply.

Which suits which problem

  • Heavy legs, swelling, lymphatic stagnation — mechanical drainage methods
  • A localised fat layer, flanks, abdomen — Accent UltraSpeed
  • Skin laxity after weight loss — the RF component is what matters
  • Stage 1–2 cellulite — both approaches deliver over a course
  • Stage 3–4 cellulite — needs a combination; one method is not enough
  • Muscle tone and definition — neither; that is 3D PowerSculpt's job

How an Accent UltraSpeed session goes

The doctor assesses the area, measures the skin fold and establishes what dominates: fat, laxity or swelling. Gel goes onto the skin and the handpiece is moved across the area — the sensation is a warm massage, and it is painless. One area takes 30–40 minutes. There is no downtime: you go straight back to your day. We ask you to drink more water that day and not to load the treated area heavily.

How the methods work

icoone works the tissue mechanically: micro-heads grip the skin point by point, speed up lymph and blood flow, and soften fibrous stiffness. The result accumulates gradually and needs a dense, frequent course. Accent UltraSpeed uses two physical mechanisms rather than mechanics: ultrasound on the fat cell membrane and RF on the skin's collagen scaffold. So UltraSpeed addresses not only drainage but volume and skin density — and usually needs fewer sessions.

  • icoone — micro-alveolar vacuum plus rollers, mechanical stimulation
  • Accent UltraSpeed — ultrasound (fat) plus unipolar RF (skin)
  • icoone does not break down fat cells on its own
  • UltraSpeed: volume + skin + drainage in one method
  • Both are non-surgical with no downtime

FAQ

? Is there an icoone in Baku, and does Paramed have one?

Paramed does not have a separate icoone device — we say so plainly. We have Accent UltraSpeed (Alma Lasers), anti-cellulite device massage and infrared NIR, which cover the same goals. At the consultation the doctor will say what suits your area.

? Which is more effective — icoone or Accent UltraSpeed?

It depends on the goal. If the main problem is swelling, heaviness and lymphatic stagnation, mechanical drainage methods are strong. If it is a localised fat layer and laxity after weight loss, Accent UltraSpeed fits better: ultrasound works on fat, RF on skin. There is no device that is simply “better”.

? Does icoone help with cellulite?

Yes, particularly at stages 1–2: mechanical microstimulation improves microcirculation and evens out skin texture. At stages 3–4, though, mechanical action alone is usually not enough — it needs combining with RF or ultrasound.

? What does Accent UltraSpeed cost in Baku?

One area 65 AZN, two areas 110 AZN; packages of four cost less than the sum of single sessions. Anti-cellulite device massage and NIR are 40 AZN each. The full list is in the pricing section above.

? How many sessions do I need?

On Accent UltraSpeed, usually 4–8 at 1–2 a week. Mechanical drainage methods need a denser schedule — 2–3 a week for 10–15 sessions. The exact number depends on the area and your starting point.

? Is this weight loss?

No, it is contour correction. The scales may barely move while the waist measurement drops noticeably. With a significant excess of weight the weight needs addressing first, or no device will show a result.

Course and results

Mechanical methods like icoone usually need a denser course — 2–3 times a week for 10–15 sessions, because the effect is cumulative. Accent UltraSpeed runs 4–8 sessions at 1–2 a week: ultrasound and RF do more work per session. In both cases the result is judged by tape measure and photos rather than the scales. Maintenance is a session every 1–2 months. With a significant excess of weight, no device method substitutes for food and movement.
