Overview
ParamedThermage is monopolar radiofrequency lifting: it heats the deep skin layers in one expensive procedure to stimulate collagen. Accent Prime (Alma Lasers) is UniPolar RF + ultrasound: the same heating and collagen-stimulation principle, but as a gentle course, comfortable and with flexible per-zone pricing. At Paramed we do RF-lifting on Accent Prime; we don't perform Thermage. Contraindications apply.
When Accent is the fit
Paramed- ✅ Tightening of the facial oval and neck
- ✅ Nasolabial folds and jowls
- ✅ Skin quality and tone
- ✅ Comfortable, no downtime
- ✅ Flexible course with maintenance
How we choose
ParamedAt the consultation we assess the skin, zones and goal. If you need the most powerful single RF, we'll point you to Thermage (we don't do it). If comfort, per-zone pricing and skin quality matter, we'll plan an Accent Prime course (UltraFace/TuneFace, Microplasma if needed).
How the methods work
ParamedThermage delivers a strong single dermal heating (usually 1 procedure, effect builds over months). Accent Prime heats the dermis to 40–43 °C with UniPolar RF, adds ultrasound and, if needed, fractional RF (Microplasma); it's gentler but works over a course of 4–6 sessions with a cumulative effect. For skin quality, the oval, nasolabial folds and jowls it's a comfortable, affordable route.
- Thermage — monopolar RF, 1 powerful procedure
- Accent Prime — UniPolar RF + ultrasound, course
- Both stimulate collagen and tightening
- Accent: comfortable, no anaesthesia, per-zone pricing
- Thermage: pricier per single visit
