How it works
ParamedBefore the procedure the specialist assesses the nail and surrounding tissue and, if needed, relieves inflammation. The nail plate is then prepared, a correctly sized Podofix brace is bonded on and the tension is adjusted. The whole procedure usually takes 20–30 minutes and is painless. Technology

The brace is bonded to the nail plate with a special adhesive, the hooks gently lift both lateral edges, and the central wire adjusts the tension. This soft, continuous pull changes the nail's geometry over a few weeks — the nail starts to grow back in a correct, flat shape. The brace is almost invisible, can be covered with nail polish, and does not interfere with daily activity.
