Aquashine is a line of biorevitalizers from the South Korean company Caregen, known for its work on biomimetic peptides. What separates it from purely hyaluronic products is that here the hyaluronic acid is the carrier while the peptides do the main work: short amino-acid chains that reproduce the signals of natural growth factors. Two versions with different jobs are available at Paramed: Aquashine BR — HA plus 5 peptides with a brightening profile, for pigmentation, dull skin and uneven tone; Aquashine PTX — HA plus peptides and polynucleotides, an enhanced formula for mature skin and density. A consultation is required; contraindications apply.
The skin is cleansed, disinfected, and a numbing cream is applied for 20–25 minutes. The product is delivered by microinjection into the superficial and mid dermis — papular technique or nappage depending on the area and the goal. A face session takes 30–40 minutes. It finishes with a soothing product and SPF, without exception.
The peptides in Aquashine work on a signalling principle: they don't substitute for growth factors but imitate their messages to cells — synthesise collagen, reduce pigment production. That's precisely why one platform yields two different products. BR uses a set of 5 peptides that influence melanogenesis — hence the brightening profile and the indications for pigmentation and uneven tone. PTX adds polynucleotides, which work on tissue regeneration and hydration, so it's more appropriate for mature skin where the goal isn't tone but density and repair. In both versions the hyaluronic acid provides hydration and distributes the actives.
The goal. BR has a brightening profile: pigmentation, dull skin, uneven tone. PTX is an enhanced anti-aging formula with polynucleotides: mature skin, loss of density. It isn't weaker versus stronger — they're different indications.
It works on pigment production and overall tone, so it suits diffuse pigmentation and dullness. Dense localised spots usually need a combination with laser — your practitioner will assess the type of pigmentation at the consultation.
They aren't better — they do something different. Hyaluronic acid retains moisture; peptides deliver signals to cells: synthesise collagen, reduce pigment production. In Aquashine both mechanisms are at work.
Usually 3–4, spaced 2–3 weeks apart. For pigmentation the course is often longer and requires SPF in home care without exception.
Papules last 1–2 days, and small bruises are possible for up to 5 days. Plan the session about a week before any important event.

Book a consultation →A standard course is 3–4 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart. When treating pigmentation, BR is often combined with laser sessions and home care with SPF — without sun protection a tone result can't be held. Maintenance is one session every 2–3 months. Tone effects are usually visible by the 2nd–3rd session; density effects (PTX) by the end of the course.
Against Dermaheal (also Caregen), Aquashine sits closer to biorevitalization: more hyaluronic acid and a less pronounced mesotherapy profile. Against Hyalual or Jalupro the mechanism differs fundamentally — signalling peptides instead of succinate or amino acids. For pigmentation that makes BR a more targeted choice than a general-purpose biorevitalizer. Against pure polynucleotides (Rejuran, Plinest), PTX contains them in a smaller proportion — as a component rather than the basis.
Both Aquashine versions are stocked at Paramed, and the practitioner selects the product by the type of concern rather than by availability. We use original Caregen products with controlled storage conditions and expiry dates. For pigmentation, home care and SPF are discussed separately at the consultation — without them a tone result doesn't hold, and we say so plainly.
