How we pick the protocol

At the consultation the physician assesses the degree of ptosis, subcutaneous fat thickness, zones and contraindications. If the goal is deep SMAS lifting for pronounced tissue descent, we say so plainly: that's HIFU or thread lifting, and we don't offer either at Paramed. If the goal is oval lifting, nasolabial folds, jowls, skin tone and quality, or ptosis prevention — Accent Prime handles it more gently, more comfortably and at a lower cost: UltraFace for needle-free RF, Microplasma for fractional work, or a combination.

How the methods work

Paramed

Ultraformer III focuses ultrasound into thermal coagulation points at 4.5 mm (SMAS), 3.0 mm (dermis) and 1.5–2.0 mm (superficial dermis), heating tissue to 60–70°C. Treatment is delivered in shots — lines of points — and the cartridge is a consumable with a limited shot count. Accent Prime is a different class of energy: UniPolar RF heats the full thickness of the dermis uniformly to 40–43°C across a broad area, with no coagulation points and no consumables, while cold Sharewave ultrasound additionally works on subcutaneous fat. Microplasma (Pixel RF) is fractional RF via microneedles for skin quality and scars.

? Do you have Ultraformer III? ⌄

No. Ultraformer III is a Classys HIFU device; we don't use it and don't plan to. For face lifting and rejuvenation Paramed runs Accent Prime (Alma Lasers, Israel) — UniPolar RF + ultrasound + Microplasma.

? Why RF instead of buying a HIFU device? ⌄

A deliberate choice. HIFU is a single session with a delayed, poorly predictable result, notable pain, per-shot pricing and a risk of fat pad atrophy in slim patients. Accent Prime gives a cumulative, controllable and repeatable result: we watch the response through the course and adjust the protocol instead of waiting six months.

? Which to choose — Ultraformer III or Accent Prime? ⌄

Ultraformer if there's pronounced tissue ptosis (usually 45+), you accept a painful session and a 3–6 month wait for the effect. Accent Prime if the goal is rejuvenation, oval lifting, nasolabial folds, jowls, tone and skin quality (usually 30+) and you want a comfortable procedure with visible progress during the course.

? Will Accent Prime give a result like Ultraformer III? ⌄

These are different layers: Ultraformer works on the SMAS, Accent Prime in the dermis. RF can't fully reproduce a deep SMAS lift. But for most real-world goals — tightening the oval, reducing laxity, softening nasolabial folds, restoring tone — an Accent Prime course delivers a visually comparable outcome without pain and without consumables.
