Overview
ParamedFotona 4D is a laser protocol by the Slovenian company Fotona on its SP Dynamis platform: four Er:YAG (2940 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm) modes — SmoothLiftin (from inside the mouth), FRAC3 and PIANO (deep heating) and SupErficial (a light resurfacing of the surface). ClearLift (Alma Lasers, Israel) is a module of the Harmony XL Pro platform: a fractional Q-Switched Nd:YAG 1064 nm that works in the dermis without damaging the skin surface and stimulates collagen. Paramed does not have a Fotona device; we perform laser rejuvenation on Harmony XL Pro. Contraindications apply.

How the methods work
ParamedBoth methods share one laser — Nd:YAG 1064 nm. In Fotona 4D it heats the deep layers (FRAC3, PIANO), while the Er:YAG steps also work from inside the mouth and on the skin surface. ClearLift uses very short Q-Switched Nd:YAG pulses: the energy goes into the dermis and the surface stays intact, so there are no crusts and no downtime.
