The comparison in brief

Ultraformer MPT (Classys, 2022) is the update to Ultraformer III. The key change is MPT — Micro Pulsed Technology: the interval between shots is shortened, the physician works in an almost continuous motion, the session runs roughly twice as fast and is noticeably more comfortable than on Ultraformer III. Depths are unchanged — 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.5 mm for the face plus body cartridges; there is still no visualization, and cartridges remain consumables with a limited shot count. How we pick the protocol

At the consultation the physician assesses the degree of ptosis, subcutaneous fat thickness, zones and contraindications. If tissue descent is pronounced and you genuinely need a SMAS lift, we'll say so plainly: that's HIFU or threads, and Paramed doesn't offer them. If the goal is oval lifting, nasolabial folds, jowls, tone, skin quality or ptosis prevention — Accent Prime handles it without pain, without consumables and with clear session-to-session progress: UltraFace for needle-free RF, Microplasma for fractional work, or a combination.

How the methods work

Paramed

MPT splits the energy into micro-pulses and shortens the pause between shots, which lowers peak pain and raises treatment speed. But the physics is the same as any HIFU: focused ultrasound creates thermal coagulation points at 4.5 mm (SMAS), 3.0 and 1.5–2.0 mm, heating tissue to 60–70°C. Accent Prime works on a fundamentally different principle: UniPolar RF heats the dermis volumetrically and uniformly to 40–43°C — no point coagulation, no cartridges, no shot cap. Sharewave ultrasound adds work on subcutaneous fat, and Microplasma (Pixel RF) delivers fractional RF via microneedles for skin quality.
