Overview
ParamedPressotherapy is pneumatic lymphatic drainage: compression cuffs improve lymph flow, reduce swelling and heaviness in the legs. On its own it doesn't reduce fat or tighten skin. Accent UltraSpeed (Alma Lasers) — RF + ultrasound — works on volume, cellulite and skin tone. At Paramed there's no standalone pressotherapy; for body contouring we use Accent UltraSpeed. Contraindications apply.
When Accent is the fit
Paramed- ✅ Reduced volume and cellulite
- ✅ Skin tightening and better drainage
- ✅ Abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms
- ✅ Warm, comfortable procedure
- ✅ Course with maintenance
How we choose
ParamedAt the consultation we separate the goals: if swelling and heaviness are the issue, that's drainage; if you need to reduce volume and tighten skin, we'll plan an Accent UltraSpeed course.
How the methods work
ParamedPressotherapy is a supportive drainage procedure (swelling, recovery, prevention), not a fat-reduction method. Accent UltraSpeed solves a different task: ultrasound breaks down fat and RF tightens skin. So for body contouring UltraSpeed is the choice, with drainage as an add-on.
- Pressotherapy — pneumatic lymph drainage, swelling
- Accent UltraSpeed — RF + ultrasound, fat and skin
- Different, often complementary, jobs
- UltraSpeed reduces volume and cellulite
- Non-surgical with no downtime
