Injections of purified DNA fragments from salmon or trout — a next-generation skin booster. They do not add volume or hydrate like biorevitalization: they restructure skin quality from within — density, elasticity, tone. At Paramed, we work with original Italian Plinest/Newest, Korean PhilArt, and Swiss Pluryal Silk.

Polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRN) — purified fragments of DNA extracted from the reproductive cells of salmon or trout. After injection into the dermis, they act as signaling molecules: activating fibroblasts, stimulating collagen and elastin production, improving microcirculation, and reducing inflammation through A2A receptors. Unlike hyaluronic acid, PDRN does not 'fill' the skin with water — it restructures its structure. Therefore, polydeoxyribonucleotides are referred to as bio-restructuring or next-generation skin boosters. At Paramed clinic in Baku, original products are used: Italian Plinest and Newest (Mastelli), Korean PhilArt (Croma-Pharma) with separate protocols for EYE/FACE/SCALP, and Swiss Pluryal Silk. Suitable for dull and dehydrated skin, early signs of aging, thin skin under the eyes, post-acne, and atrophy. Consultation is mandatory.
During the consultation, the doctor assesses the skin condition and selects the product: Plinest/Newest for the face and neck, PhilArt EYE for the under-eye area, PhilArt FACE for the face, Pluryal Silk for basic protocols. The product is injected with a fine needle using the micro-papule technique, nappage, or linear injection as indicated. The session lasts 30–45 minutes, and topical anesthesia is applied. The course consists of 3–4 procedures with an interval of 2–3 weeks. A maintenance session is recommended every 4–6 months.
PDRN consists of long chains of nucleotides (50–1500 kDa) derived from the DNA of fish reproductive cells (Oncorhynchus mykiss — trout, Oncorhynchus keta — chum salmon). After injection, they are broken down in the skin into short fragments that bind to A2A adenosine receptors on fibroblasts and keratinocytes. This activates the synthesis of collagen types I and III, fibroblast migration, and angiogenesis (new capillaries), while simultaneously suppressing pro-inflammatory cytokines. Unlike exosomes, the effect is achieved not through the transfer of growth factors but through receptor activation and incorporation of nucleotides into tissue repair. The effect is cumulative: visible thickening and improvement in tone increase over 2–3 months after the course.
Biorevitalization with hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin — the main effect is through osmosis and hydration. Polydeoxyribonucleotides work deeper: they activate fibroblasts, restructure the collagen framework, and improve skin quality at a structural level. The effect is less 'instantaneous' but cumulative — it increases over 2–3 months.
These are different molecules and mechanisms. Exosomes are nanovesicles from stem cells that carry ready-made growth factors and microRNA. Polydeoxyribonucleotides are DNA fragments that activate A2A cell receptors. They are often prescribed sequentially or combined: PDRN for structure and density, exosomes for regeneration and anti-inflammation.
Yes, this is one of the key indications — especially PhilArt EYE. The thin skin under the eyes becomes denser, and the bluish tint from visible vessels decreases. Usually, 3–4 procedures with an interval of 3 weeks are required.
Yes. PDRN works excellently in one program with fillers and Botox: it improves skin quality, while injectables relax facial expressions and restore volume. The order and intervals are tailored individually.
The initial course consists of 3–4 sessions with an interval of 2–3 weeks. Maintenance procedures are recommended once every 4–6 months.
The products are ultra-purified from proteins and other allergens — reactions to fish are virtually non-existent. However, a history of seafood allergy is a relative contraindication; the decision is made by the doctor.
Pregnancy and lactation, oncology, active phase autoimmune diseases, skin infections in the injection area, severe allergy to fish/seafood, blood clotting disorders. A complete list will be provided during the consultation.
Schedule a consultation at Paramed clinic in Baku — the doctor will assess your skin condition and select the polydeoxyribonucleotide product: Plinest, Newest, PhilArt, or Pluryal Silk. Combination with biorevitalization, Botox, and fillers in one program is possible.
