Overview

NAD⁺ mesotherapy is a minimally invasive skin-revitalization treatment. Through a series of precise microinjections, an NAD⁺-containing formulation is delivered intradermally into the areas that need reviving. The aim is to support cellular energy and the skin's natural renewal processes where skin appears tired, dull and lacking vitality. It is not a filler and not a substitute for treatments designed for deep wrinkles, pigmentation, volume loss or skin laxity: NAD⁺ mesotherapy works on overall skin quality and radiance. Results develop gradually rather than producing an overcorrected appearance. Contraindications apply.

Benefits

  • Revitalizes tired and dull-looking skin
  • Improves the appearance of skin texture
  • Supports a fresher, more radiant complexion
  • Improves the appearance of early fine lines
  • Supports the skin's natural renewal processes
  • Complements selected device and injectable treatments

What happens during treatment

The skin is cleansed and disinfected. A topical anesthetic may be applied for additional comfort. The doctor then administers small amounts of the formulation using a series of superficial microinjections into the mapped areas. A typical session takes approximately 20–40 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas treated. Treatment may be performed on the face, the under-eye area, the neck, the décolletage and the hands. Your doctor will assess the condition of your skin and determine whether NAD⁺ mesotherapy is appropriate for the area you would like to treat.

What NAD⁺ is and why it is delivered into the skin

NAD⁺ — nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide — is a coenzyme naturally present in every cell of the body. It participates in cellular energy production, antioxidant defense and normal repair processes. Natural NAD⁺ levels may decline with age and with environmental stress — UV, smoking, poor sleep, urban living. The premise of the treatment is to deliver NAD⁺ locally into the dermis rather than systemically: intradermal delivery lets the doctor work precisely where the skin looks dull and tired. The formulation is placed superficially, using a multiple-microinjection technique, under sterile conditions and by a physician only.

  • A coenzyme involved in cellular energy and antioxidant defense
  • NAD⁺ levels decline with age and environmental stress
  • Delivery is intradermal and superficial — work in a specific area
  • Creates no volume and does not alter facial contours — it is not a filler
  • Combines with skin boosters, microneedling, lasers and peels
  • Clinical evidence for intradermal NAD⁺ is still developing

Preparation & aftercare

Before the procedure
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and, if agreed with your doctor, anticoagulants
  • Do not schedule the treatment during an active herpes outbreak or skin inflammation
  • Tell your doctor about allergies, pregnancy, breastfeeding and chronic conditions
  • Women may find it more comfortable not to schedule the session just before menstruation — sensitivity is higher
After the procedure
  • Do not apply makeup to the treated area for the first 24 hours
  • Avoid sauna, swimming pools, intense exercise and strong sun for 1–2 days
  • Use SPF and gentle skincare without acids or scrubs for a few days
  • Drink enough water and follow your doctor's individual aftercare instructions

Your doctor gives precise before-and-after instructions based on your skin.

FAQ

? Does NAD⁺ mesotherapy reverse aging?

No. No treatment can stop or reverse the natural aging process. NAD⁺ mesotherapy is intended to support skin vitality and improve the appearance of overall skin quality — nothing more.

? Is it a filler?

No. NAD⁺ mesotherapy does not create facial volume or alter facial contours the way dermal fillers do. It is a revitalization treatment that works on skin quality.

? Is the treatment painful?

Most patients experience mild pinching or stinging during the injections. A topical anesthetic can be used to make the procedure more comfortable.

? Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes. It may complement selected skin boosters, microneedling, laser procedures and chemical peels. The appropriate sequence and interval are determined by your doctor.

? Are the results permanent?

No. Skin aging and environmental exposure continue over time, so maintenance sessions and an appropriate home skincare routine may be recommended.

? What is actually known about how well it works?

Clinical evidence for the cosmetic effects of intradermal NAD⁺ is still developing. We say that plainly: the treatment should be viewed as a supportive skin-revitalization option rather than a proven method of reversing aging. If your main concern is wrinkles, pigmentation, volume or laxity, your doctor will recommend treatments with stronger supporting evidence.

? Is there any downtime?

Usually limited. Temporary effects may include redness, mild swelling, small injection marks or papules, tenderness and bruising. These reactions usually settle within several hours to a few days.

? How much does it cost?

The price is quoted on request and depends on the formulation, the number of areas and the course protocol. Your doctor will confirm the exact cost at consultation.

Every treatment begins with a medical consultation. We will assess your skin, discuss your expectations and recommend the most suitable plan for your needs — with or without NAD⁺ mesotherapy.

How many sessions are recommended

The programme depends on your skin condition, your objectives and the formulation used. A course of several sessions is usually recommended, followed by periodic maintenance treatments. The final protocol is determined after consultation rather than applying the same schedule to every patient. Some patients notice improved freshness or radiance after the first session; changes in overall skin quality tend to develop more gradually over a course.
