Overview
ParamedFotona 4D is a laser protocol by the Slovenian company Fotona on its SP Dynamis platform: four Er:YAG (2940 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm) modes — SmoothLiftin (from inside the mouth), FRAC3 and PIANO (deep heating) and SupErficial (a light resurfacing of the surface). Harmony XL Pro (Alma Lasers, Israel) is a platform with interchangeable modules. For facial rejuvenation at Paramed we combine four of them: ClearLift (Q-Switched Nd:YAG 1064 nm), ClearSkin (Er:Glass 1540 nm), NIR (infrared skin tightening) and AFT photorejuvenation — Dye-VL (redness and vessels) and Dye-PL (tone photorejuvenation). Paramed does not have a Fotona device. Contraindications apply.
When the Harmony protocol fits
Paramed- ✅ Several goals at once: tone, texture, firmness
- ✅ Redness, couperose or thread veins
- ✅ You need results without long downtime
- ✅ You want a flexible plan rather than one fixed protocol
How we choose
ParamedAt the consultation the doctor assesses tone, texture, firmness and vessels and builds a plan from Harmony XL Pro modules: for example Dye-VL for redness, then ClearLift or ClearSkin and NIR. Modules can be alternated within a course.
Step by step: Fotona 4D and the Harmony modules
ParamedEach Fotona 4D step has its own job, and Harmony XL Pro has a module for most of them. Deep heating and tightening (PIANO, FRAC3) comes from NIR infrared skin tightening. Renewal in the dermis comes from ClearLift (Nd:YAG 1064 nm, as in FRAC3). Texture and pores are handled by ClearSkin (Er:Glass 1540 nm, non-ablative, instead of the ablative Er:YAG SupErficial step). Harmony has no equivalent of the intraoral SmoothLiftin step. In return, Dye-VL treats what Fotona 4D does not target: redness, thread veins and uneven tone.
- PIANO / FRAC3 (deep heating) → NIR
- FRAC3 (Nd:YAG 1064 nm) → ClearLift
- SupErficial (Er:YAG) → ClearSkin, non-ablative
- SmoothLiftin (inside the mouth) → no equivalent
- Redness, vessels, tone → Dye-VL (AFT)
FAQ
Paramed? Do you have Fotona 4D? ⌄
No. We work on Harmony XL Pro (Alma Lasers): ClearLift, ClearSkin, NIR and Dye-VL photorejuvenation, and Accent Prime for jawline lifting.
? Can Harmony reproduce Fotona 4D? ⌄
Almost every step, yes: deep heating (NIR), Nd:YAG rejuvenation (ClearLift) and texture renewal (ClearSkin). There is no intraoral equivalent; in return Dye-VL also treats redness and vessels.
? How is this page different from 'Fotona vs Harmony'? ⌄
That page compares the platforms in general. This one compares the Fotona 4D protocol specifically with a combination of Harmony modules for facial rejuvenation.
? How much does it cost? ⌄
Each module is priced separately: ClearLift and ClearSkin from 100 AZN (1/3 face), Dye-PL photorejuvenation from 80 AZN, NIR 120 AZN for the full face. All prices are in the table below.
? Are there contraindications? ⌄
Yes — pregnancy, an active tan, cancer, inflammation in the area, photosensitising medication and others; the doctor checks them at the consultation.
