Overview

Cellbooster® Hair is a scalp mesotherapy product from the Swiss company Suisselle. Its base is high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid at 6 mg/ml (18 mg per 3 ml vial) — not chemically cross-linked but mechanically stabilised by CHAC technology. In this form the acid is more than a humectant: it holds and gradually releases B vitamins, biotin, rutin, copper, zinc and the five amino acids keratin uses to build the hair shaft. The aim is not to “wake up” the follicle with a stimulant but to close a nutritional gap and restore the scalp's water balance. Contraindications apply and a specialist consultation is required.

Benefits

  • Less shedding and breakage
  • Denser, better-quality hair shaft
  • Restored scalp hydration — less dryness and dandruff
  • Support after colouring, perming and transplantation
  • Pairs well with PRP and polynucleotides
  • No downtime — back to your day straight away

How it works

The scalp is disinfected and numbing cream applied if needed. The product is delivered by fine-needle micro-injections into the epidermis and dermis, mapped across thinning zones and the whole hair-bearing area. The session takes 20–30 minutes and finishes with a soothing product and aftercare advice. There is no downtime: the small papules settle within hours.

Technology

The difference between Cellbooster® Hair and an ordinary meso-cocktail is how the product behaves in tissue. Chemically cross-linked hyaluronic acid has no place in the scalp: it lasts, but that is filler logic. Non-cross-linked acid does the opposite — it resorbs within days and takes the actives with it. CHAC, mechanical stabilisation through simultaneous shear and pressure, sits in between: the molecule stays chemically pure yet holds in the dermis longer and releases nutrients gradually. The formula follows from that: copper and zinc take part in keratin synthesis and antioxidant enzyme activity, biotin and B vitamins in the follicle's energy metabolism, arginine and cysteine are building material for the hair itself.

FAQ

? Is this the same as ordinary hair mesotherapy?

The mechanics are the same — micro-injections into the scalp. The product differs: hyaluronic acid stabilised by CHAC technology stays in tissue longer than a standard cocktail and releases vitamins and trace elements gradually.

? Will it help with hair loss?

With diffuse shedding driven by deficiencies, stress or the postpartum period — usually yes. In androgenetic alopecia it supports core therapy: it improves scalp nutrition but does not address the hormonal cause.

? How many sessions are needed?

An intensive course of 6 sessions at 2–3 week intervals, then maintenance once a month. The doctor adjusts the plan based on trichoscopy.

? Does it hurt?

It is felt but tolerable: the injections are superficial and the needle is fine. We apply numbing cream if needed. The session takes 20–30 minutes.

? Why is the price shown as “$$$”?

The cost depends on how many vials a session uses and how long the course runs. After trichoscopy the doctor quotes both the per-session price and the full course — no surprises along the way.

Course plan

An intensive course is 6 sessions at 2–3 week intervals, then maintenance once a month. The first change is usually visible by session 3–4: shedding drops first, while the quality of new hair is judged later — the growth cycle cannot be rushed. In androgenetic alopecia the product is used alongside core therapy, not instead of it.

Comparison

Classic hair mesotherapy is cheaper and fine for basic support, but its cocktails clear from tissue quickly. PRP works through growth factors from your own plasma — different mechanics, often run in combination. Exosomes (ExoCoBio, BENEV, Purasomes) are the top price segment with signalling molecules; PhilArt SCALP and Plinest polynucleotides work on scalp regeneration. Cellbooster® Hair sits between an ordinary meso-cocktail and premium regenerative protocols: nutritional support with prolonged release. Which one fits depends on the diagnosis — in active androgenetic alopecia none of these replaces core therapy.

Contraindications

  • ⚠️ Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • ⚠️ Allergy to the product's components
  • ⚠️ Active inflammation, dermatitis or broken skin on the scalp
  • ⚠️ Active-phase autoimmune disease
  • ⚠️ Oncological disease
  • ⚠️ Blood clotting disorders

Why Paramed

At Paramed a hair course does not start with a product — it starts with trichoscopy and a conversation about what is actually happening: diffuse shedding, androgenetic alopecia, deficiencies on blood work and colouring damage all call for different answers. If simpler mesotherapy will do, or if a medical work-up should come first, we say so. The price for Cellbooster® Hair is quoted at the consultation, because it depends on how much product a session uses.
