The bikini darkens faster than most areas: there is constant friction from underwear and clothing, regular shaving and waxing, ingrown hairs and post-inflammatory pigmentation after irritation, plus the effect of hormonal changes — pregnancy, contraceptives, endocrine conditions. The skin here is thin and sensitive, which is why strong at-home acids often backfire: irritation and even more pigment. At the consultation the doctor examines the bikini area, assesses skin type and the depth and character of the pigmentation, and selects the method. Pink Intimate System: the skin is cleansed and degreased, the lightening formula is applied and the exposure time is matched to how sensitive the skin is; it is gentle and done as a course with 7–14 day intervals. Alma Pixel CO2: numbing cream is applied 20–30 minutes beforehand, then the fractional laser with its scanner covers the area evenly; afterwards redness, a feeling of warmth and temporary darkening of the treated skin are normal, followed by skin renewal. A session on the bikini area takes about 20–30 minutes, up to an hour including preparation. A female specialist performs the treatment, only the target area is exposed and the rest stays covered. Do not shave or epilate the area for 2–3 days before the session.
Postpone waxing and sugaring to at least a week before the session.

Come with clean skin — no creams, oils or deodorising products.

After the procedure

Wear loose cotton underwear and avoid friction and tight clothing.
Skip the hammam, sauna, pool and direct sun for several days.
No intense workouts or heavy sweating for 48 hours.
Do not shave or epilate until the skin has fully recovered.
Use only the aftercare your doctor recommends; do not rub or exfoliate the area.
After the laser, temporary darkening and light peeling are normal — do not pick at flaking skin.

? How many sessions do I need? ⌄

A Pink Intimate System course is usually 4–6 sessions at 7–14 day intervals; with the Alma Pixel CO2 laser 2–4 sessions at 4–6 week intervals are more typical. The doctor sets the exact protocol after examining the area.

? Is it painful? ⌄

Pink Intimate System is comfortable, with possible mild tingling. Before the laser, numbing cream is applied and the sensation is moderate — warmth and prickling.

? Can I combine it with bikini laser hair removal? ⌄
