Bikini whitening — also searched as bikini bleaching — is a cosmetic procedure that lightens and evens out skin tone across the bikini area: the panty line, deep bikini, mons pubis, groin folds and inner thighs. The perianal area can be added in the same visit if you want it. The bikini darkens faster than most areas: there is constant friction from underwear and clothing, regular shaving and waxing, ingrown hairs and post-inflammatory pigmentation after irritation, plus the effect of hormonal changes — pregnancy, contraceptives, endocrine conditions. The skin here is thin and sensitive, which is why strong at-home acids often backfire: irritation and even more pigment. At Paramed we work with two methods: the gentle Pink Intimate System (a cosmetic course) and the Alma Pixel CO2 fractional laser with a computer-guided scanner for more stubborn darkening. The doctor picks the method at consultation based on your skin type, how pronounced the pigmentation is, and whether you have hair removal done.
A more even, lighter tone across the bikini area, groin and inner thighs. Works on post-inflammatory pigmentation from shaving, waxing and ingrown hairs. Two methods: a gentle course for sensitive skin and a laser for stubborn darkening. Improved skin texture and a well-cared-for look. Pairs well with a laser hair removal course: first remove the cause of friction and ingrown hairs, then even out the tone. Perianal area and underarms can be added in the same visit. Discreet care: a female specialist, a private room, confidentiality.
At the consultation the doctor examines the bikini area, assesses skin type and the depth and character of the pigmentation, and selects the method. Pink Intimate System: the skin is cleansed and degreased, the lightening formula is applied and the exposure time is matched to how sensitive the skin is; it is gentle and done as a course with 7–14 day intervals. Alma Pixel CO2: numbing cream is applied 20–30 minutes beforehand, then the fractional laser with its scanner covers the area evenly; afterwards redness, a feeling of warmth and temporary darkening of the treated skin are normal, followed by skin renewal. A session on the bikini area takes about 20–30 minutes, up to an hour including preparation. A female specialist performs the treatment, only the target area is exposed and the rest stays covered. The exact protocol and number of sessions are set by the doctor.
Pink Intimate System is a professional lightening system for delicate areas. It contains stabilized MCA, enhanced kojic acid, bisabolol and glycyrrhetinic acid: the lightening action comes with a soothing one, which matters on the thin skin of the bikini area. Alma Pixel CO2 is a fractional CO2 laser: it renews the surface layer of the skin and stimulates regeneration, so the tone becomes more even and lighter and the texture improves. The computer-guided scanner covers the area uniformly without overlapping pulses — critical on curves and in the groin folds. The laser works deeper than topicals, so it suits stubborn darkening and needs fewer sessions.
From 150 AZN per area. The final price depends on the method (Pink Intimate System or the Alma Pixel CO2 laser) and the number of areas — for example if you add the perianal area. We quote the exact amount at consultation or on WhatsApp.
A Pink Intimate System course is usually 4–6 sessions at 7–14 day intervals; with the Alma Pixel CO2 laser 2–4 sessions at 4–6 week intervals are more typical. The doctor sets the exact protocol after examining the area.
Pink Intimate System is comfortable, with possible mild tingling. Before the laser, numbing cream is applied and the sensation is moderate — warmth and prickling.
Yes, and it is the sensible order: hair removal ends shaving, ingrown hairs and part of the friction — the cause of the darkening — while whitening evens out the tone. The procedures are spaced apart; the doctor will plan the schedule.
We work on skin: the panty line, deep bikini, mons pubis, groin, inner thighs and the perianal area. Mucous membranes are not treated. What is appropriate in your case is decided by the doctor at examination.
The tone becomes more even and lighter, but this is a lightening by a few shades, not a full change of skin colour. The outcome depends on the starting pigmentation, your skin type and how well you follow aftercare.
If the cause — friction, shaving, ingrown hairs — is removed, the result holds for a long time, but pigmentation does tend to return. A maintenance session as needed is usually recommended.
After Pink Intimate System there is essentially none. After Alma Pixel CO2, expect 3–5 days of redness, temporary darkening and light peeling — loose underwear and gentle care are needed during that time.
No — it is better to wait until after pregnancy and breastfeeding, not least because hormonal pigmentation often fades on its own. Discuss timing with your doctor.
A female specialist treats you in a private room, only the target area is exposed and the rest stays covered. We work confidentially and without unnecessary questions.
