PRX-T33 vs biorevitalization — which to choose in Baku

Both approaches solve the same problem — they increase skin density and firmness, hydrate the dermis and trigger collagen production. But they get there in different ways. PRX-T33 is a no-needle peel without shedding. Injectable biorevitalization is micro-injections with hyaluronic acid (Aquashine, Hyalual, Restylane Vital). The right choice depends on your goals, budget and tolerance for needles.

Overview

PRX-T33 and injectable biorevitalization are the two main ways to increase skin density without fillers or surgery. PRX-T33 works from the outside: 33% TCA buffered with hydrogen peroxide passes through the epidermis without damaging the surface and stimulates fibroblasts in the dermis. Injectable biorevitalization works from the inside: stabilized hyaluronic acid is delivered by microneedles into the mid dermis, creating a water reservoir and at the same time triggering the skin's own collagen production. PRX-T33 has no needles, no marks and no downtime. Injections deliver a more pronounced hydration effect per session and a longer-lasting result from a single treatment. In practice, clinicians often combine both methods. A consultation is required; contraindications apply.

Who should choose which

  • Age 30–40, prevention and mild anti-aging — PRX-T33 (more accessible, gentler)
  • Age 40+, significant density loss — injectable biorevitalization (stronger)
  • Neck, décolleté, hands — PRX-T33 (lower risk of visible marks)
  • Fine lines around the eyes — injections (PRX-T33 isn't used on eyelids)
  • Don't tolerate needles or face the public at work — PRX-T33
  • Want maximum effect in the fewest sessions — injections
  • Comfortable with regular low-downtime upkeep — PRX-T33
  • Best of both worlds — combined protocol (PRX-T33 + 1 injection every 3 months)

Can they be combined?

Yes, and it's the most effective approach. A popular protocol: a 4–6 session PRX-T33 course (builds skin density as the base) + 1–2 sessions of injectable biorevitalization (fills the water reservoir in already-prepared skin). Then maintenance — PRX-T33 every 1–2 months and injections every 3–4 months. This scheme delivers lasting results and reduces side-effect risks — the skin works on two fronts at once.

How each method works

PRX-T33 is a topical product based on TCA. Hydrogen peroxide in the formula blocks superficial frosting and shedding, so the acid passes through the epidermis without damaging it and works in the dermis to stimulate fibroblasts. Kojic acid adds a brightening effect. The product is massaged in until fully absorbed. Injectable biorevitalization works differently — liquid HA-based products (1–2%) are delivered through a series of micro-injections into the mid dermis. Part of the HA acts as a water reservoir, improving turgor within 1–3 days. The rest activates the skin's own collagen and elastin production. The effect of injections builds over 2–3 weeks; PRX-T33's effect builds over 2–4 weeks and accumulates across the course.

  • PRX-T33: TCA + H₂O₂ + kojic acid, applied topically
  • Injections: stabilized HA 1–2%, micro-injections into the dermis
  • Both stimulate native collagen — through different routes
  • PRX-T33: no needles, no visible marks
  • Injections: stronger effect per single treatment

FAQ

? PRX-T33 is called 'no-needle biorevitalization'. Is that accurate?

Yes — it's a marketing term but a fair one. The final effect (hydration + collagen stimulation) is close to injectable biorevitalization. The differences are in delivery (through skin vs through a needle) and the strength of effect per session.

? Which is more effective per single session?

Injectable biorevitalization — it delivers HA straight to the target layer. PRX-T33 has a gentler per-session effect but accumulates over the course.

? Which is cheaper over a full course?

PRX-T33: 4–6 × 100 AZN = 400–600 AZN per course. Injections: 3–5 × 180–300 AZN = 540–1500 AZN. The gap is meaningful, especially with premium products.

? Which has less downtime?

PRX-T33 — no downtime. Apply SPF and go back to your day. After injections — papules for 1–2 days, small bruises on thin skin up to 5 days.

? Which to choose for neck and hands?

PRX-T33. On neck and hands, injection marks are more visible than on the face. PRX-T33 works on these zones without that risk.

? Can I start with PRX-T33 and move to injections later?

Yes — it's a sensible sequence. PRX-T33 first prepares the skin, increases density and trains the fibroblasts. After 2–3 months the skin responds better to injectable products.

? Which suits sensitive skin better?

PRX-T33 — no epidermal damage, no risk of product rejection. For injections, choose a product without lidocaine and preservatives.

? Can both methods be done in the same week?

No, minimum gap is 7–10 days. The typical pattern: peel first (PRX-T33), injections 1–2 weeks later. Your practitioner sets the exact schedule.

Courses and costs

PRX-T33 only: a 4–6 session course × 100 AZN = 400–600 AZN. Maintenance every 1–2 months — around 600–1200 AZN per year. Injectable biorevitalization only: a 3–5 session course × 180–250 AZN = 540–1250 AZN. Maintenance every 2–3 months — around 720–1500 AZN per year. Combined protocol: PRX-T33 course (400–600) + 2 injections (400–500) = 800–1100 AZN to start, then maintenance on both lines.
