How RF microneedling works
ParamedRF microneedling combines two technologies: microneedles that create channels in the dermis, and radiofrequency energy that heats tissue at a controlled depth. Unlike pure microneedling (needles only) or ablative laser (surface heat only), RF microneedling works deep in the dermis with minimal damage to the epidermis. This triggers new collagen and elastin synthesis, tightens skin and improves texture. Morpheus8 (InMode), Megapixel HD (Alma) and Legato (Alma) implement this principle differently — primarily in needle count, depth, RF delivery mode and cooling.
