Lipolax — injectable lipolytic in Baku
Lipolax is a Korean injectable lipolytic for reducing localised fat deposits. Active ingredients — phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholic acid — disrupt fat-cell membranes, after which the body clears the split lipids naturally. Suitable for double chin, flanks, abdomen, knees and other zones with localised fat.

Overview
ParamedLipolax is a Korean injectable lipolytic for targeted correction of localised fat deposits. The active components — phosphatidylcholine (PPC) 5% and deoxycholic acid — disrupt the membranes of adipocytes (fat cells), triggering their breakdown and natural elimination through the lymphatic system. Lipolax is effective in zones with localised fat that doesn't respond to diet and exercise: double chin, flanks, lower abdomen, inner thigh, knees, "banana folds" below the buttocks. Suitable for patients with normal or slightly elevated weight — NOT for general weight loss. A consultation is required; contraindications apply.
Benefits
Paramed- ✅ Targeted work on localised fat (not general weight loss)
- ✅ Effective on zones that don't respond to diet and exercise
- ✅ No surgery, no incisions, no general anaesthesia
- ✅ Suitable for the double chin — the most popular zone
- ✅ Effect is irreversible: destroyed fat cells don't regenerate
- ✅ Pairs with RF-lifting and Accent Prime to tighten skin after volume loss
How it works
ParamedAfter cleansing and marking the zone, local anaesthetic is applied (if needed). The product is delivered via a grid of injections (1–2 cm between points) into the subcutaneous fat layer. Product volume per zone — 5–10 ml (fixed grid). Session duration: 20–40 minutes depending on zone size. After — compression garment (if recommended), 15 minutes of observation.
Technology
ParamedLipolax works through a dual mechanism: PPC (phosphatidylcholine) solubilises the fats in the adipocyte membrane, while deoxycholic acid disrupts the membrane itself. The cell dies, its contents move into the extracellular space, macrophages break down the lipids, and the lymphatic system clears them. Fat tissue in the treated zone shrinks by 1–3 cm in circumference per course. This is a similar mechanism to Aqualyx (Italy) and Kybella (USA), in a more accessible Korean packaging. After each session: swelling and mild inflammation for 3–7 days (part of the therapeutic effect).
- Korea, Lipolax — phosphatidylcholine 5% + deoxycholic acid
- Disrupts the membranes of fat cells (adipocytes)
- Cleaved lipids are eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system
- Course of 2–4 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart
- Visible zone-volume reduction — 1–3 cm per course
- Expected side effects: swelling and soreness 3–7 days post-procedure

FAQ
Paramed? Can Lipolax be used for general weight loss? ⌄
No. Lipolax only works on localised fat deposits — small zones that don't respond to diet and exercise. For general weight loss you need nutrition + exercise + medical supervision.
? Is it painful? ⌄
Topical anaesthetic or local infiltration anaesthesia is used. After the procedure — soreness and swelling for 3–7 days, especially on larger zones. Most patients rate discomfort as 4–6 out of 10.
? How many sessions for the double chin? ⌄
Usually 2–4 sessions with 2–3 week intervals. Effect visible after 1–2 sessions, final result — 4–6 weeks after the last one.
? How many cm will the zone lose per course? ⌄
1–3 cm in circumference of the treated zone depending on initial fat volume and individual response. Larger zones (abdomen, flanks) may need 2–3 courses with breaks.
? Will the fat come back after treatment? ⌄
Destroyed adipocytes in the treated zone don't regenerate. But if overall body weight increases, remaining fat cells will enlarge. Maintaining stable weight is essential for lasting results.
? Can it be combined with RF-lifting or Accent Prime? ⌄
Yes — it's an effective scheme: the lipolytic reduces fat, RF/Accent tightens the skin after volume loss. RF procedures are usually scheduled 1–2 months after the Lipolax course.
? What are the side effects? ⌄
Expected: swelling, soreness, bruising, occasional nodules for 3–7 days. Rare: inflammation, infection, asymmetry (with uneven injection). Serious complications are extremely rare with proper technique.
? What's the difference between Lipolax and Lipolab? ⌄
Both are Korean lipolytics with similar mechanisms. Lipolax uses PPC + deoxycholic acid. Lipolab (Caregen) uses only PPC. Lipolax generally works more aggressively, Lipolab is gentler. The choice is made during consultation.

ParamedCourse plan
ParamedStandard course: 2–4 procedures with 2–3 week intervals per zone. Exact count depends on fat volume and individual response. Initial consultation includes zone assessment and photos for progress tracking. Mandatory 6-month break after a course before another series (the body must fully clear the breakdown products).
Comparison
ParamedCompared with Aqualyx (Italy), Lipolax has a more accessible price for a comparable mechanism. Compared with Kybella (USA, FDA-approved for chin only), Lipolax can be used on any localised zone. Compared with cryolipolysis (CoolSculpting), Lipolax allows more precise work on small zones but requires an injection course. Does not replace liposuction for large fat volumes.
