Overview
ParamedNeck, décolleté and hands age faster than the face, yet classic peels are a bad fit for these areas — the skin is too thin and the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation after a TCA or retinoic peel is high. PRX-T33 solves this: it stimulates collagen deep in the dermis without damaging the epidermis, and causes no visible shedding. This makes it one of the very few professional peels that can be used safely on "aging zones" — thin neck skin, sensitive décolleté and the backs of the hands. A course of 4–6 sessions noticeably increases skin density, smooths fine lines and lightens sun-induced pigmentation. A consultation is required; contraindications apply.
What changes on the neck, décolleté and hands
Paramed- ✅ Reduces the "turkey neck" — horizontal lines and laxity
- ✅ Evens out décolleté tone after long-term sun exposure
- ✅ Lightens age spots on the backs of the hands
- ✅ Restores density to thin, translucent-looking skin
- ✅ Smooths fine lines and crepey texture on the hands
- ✅ Overall rejuvenation without shedding or downtime
How the procedure goes on the neck and hands
ParamedAfter cleansing, PRX-T33 is massaged into the neck/décolleté/hands in 2–3 layers until fully absorbed. On the décolleté, the practitioner works more gently than on the face, avoiding the sternum area and any large moles. On the hands, the dorsal surface and the spaces between fingers are treated. A mild tingling sensation is normal and fades within 1–2 minutes. The session ends with a moisturizer and SPF 50. Total visit time — 30–40 minutes (if all three zones are treated together).
Why PRX-T33 works on thin skin
ParamedClassic peels (TCA, retinoic, Jessner) perform poorly on the neck and hands: the thin dermis heals slowly, and sun-induced pigmentation is easily fixed in place by superficial damage. PRX-T33 takes a different route — its 33% TCA is buffered with hydrogen peroxide, which blocks superficial injury. The active ingredient reaches the dermal fibroblasts, triggers collagen and elastin synthesis, but spares the epidermis. Kojic acid adds a brightening effect — especially important for age spots on the backs of the hands. The product is massaged in, and on thin skin the protocol is adapted: fewer layers, gentler technique.
- Works in the dermis without epidermal damage — safe on thin skin
- Kojic acid lightens sun spots on the hands
- No peeling phase — no risk of post-peel pigmentation
- Can be delivered as a comfortable multi-session course
- Combines naturally with the face PRX-T33 protocol

FAQ
Paramed? Why do the neck and hands age faster than the face? ⌄
Skin in these areas is thinner, with fewer sebaceous glands and less subcutaneous tissue. We also rarely apply SPF to the neck and hands — yet UV is the main driver of aging.
? Can I do PRX-T33 only on the neck, without the face? ⌄
Yes, the treatment is independent. But aesthetically, running it in parallel with the face is often better — otherwise the contrast in tone and density becomes visible.
? Does PRX-T33 help with age spots on the hands? ⌄
Yes, partially. The kojic acid in the formula gradually lightens spots over a 6-session course. For deep pigmentation the effect is weaker — laser usually works better there.
? How many sessions to see results on the neck? ⌄
First changes (elasticity, glow) appear after 2–3 sessions. Tightening and smoothing of the horizontal "necklace lines" — after 4–6 sessions.
? Will my neck or hands peel? ⌄
No — PRX-T33 doesn't cause visible peeling. You may feel slight tightness for 1–2 days.
? Can it be done in summer? ⌄
Yes — especially for the hands, which take the most sun in summer. Daily SPF 30+ on the treated zones is essential.
? What does it cost to treat all three zones in one visit? ⌄
At Paramed, PRX-T33 is 100 AZN per zone. If neck, décolleté and hands are treated in one visit, the practitioner can offer a package rate during your consultation.
? When is the best time to start? ⌄
Preventively — from age 30, especially for women who tan or work with their hands. Correctively — at the first horizontal lines or visible pigmentation.

ParamedCourse plan for aging zones
ParamedFor neck, décolleté and hands we recommend an extended course: 6 sessions spaced 10–14 days apart. Skin in these areas is thinner and slower to respond than facial skin, so more sessions are needed. Noticeable changes (density, even tone) usually appear after 3–4 treatments. Full effect and lasting firmness — after the 6th session. Maintenance sessions every 1–2 months preserve results for 9–12 months. Many patients run the neck/hands course in parallel with PRX-T33 for the face — the most effective anti-aging combination.
What else works on the neck, décolleté and hands
ParamedAlternatives to PRX-T33 for these aging zones are limited. Classic chemical peels (TCA, retinoic) can leave pigment spots. Injectable biorevitalization (mesotherapy, Aquashine, Profhilo) gives a similar density boost, but requires needles and leaves visible marks for 2–3 days — clearly seen on the décolleté. Lasers are used cautiously on thin neck and hand skin due to the burn risk. PRX-T33 sits in the sweet spot: close to biorevitalization in effect, but without needles or visible marks.
