Technology
ParamedMandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid with a relatively large molecule. Because it moves into the skin slowly, it exfoliates more evenly and is usually better tolerated than smaller-molecule acids. At Paramed it is one of four acid peels at 60 AZN, alongside lactic, glycolic and retinoic peels. If your skin needs a stronger effect, the cosmetologist may move you on to Jessner, PRX-T33 or BioRePeel, each at 100 AZN.

Preparation & aftercare
Paramed- Avoid sun exposure for at least one week prior to treatment.
- Do not use retinoids or exfoliating products for 3 days before your peel.
- Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy skincare routine.
- Inform your specialist about any skin conditions or medications.
- Avoid waxing or other hair removal methods in the treatment area.
- Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.
- Avoid sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.
- Do not pick or peel at the skin post-treatment.
- Keep the skin moisturized with a gentle, hydrating product.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after the peel.
- Refrain from using harsh skincare products for at least a week.
- Expect mild redness or peeling, which should subside within a few days.
